The Julia Rose Simone Prize (JRSP) is awarded yearly to work (text, audio, visual) that expresses the spirit of Seedling for Change.
The prize has several categories:
- Category One: expresses the spirit of the initiative connecting Latin America to other areas / regions of the world
- Category Two: expresses the spirit of the initiative connecting Canada and Latin America
- Category Three: expresses the spirit of the initiative connecting Latin America to the Niagara Region
- Category Four: expresses the spirit of the initiative connecting Canada and Latin America to other areas / regions of the world
Each prize is accompanied by three special mentions under the following categories:
- Inspiration in Action
- Inspiring
- Inspired
Conditions for participation: child under 12 years old
Place of residence: Open
Contest opens: April 27, 2016
Contest closes: March 24 every year
Submission format: digital format, tiff, jpg, Word, pdf, send by email to msuescunpozas@brocku.ca.
Prize: inclusion on the website, invitation to join the JRSP team, join the JRSP as jury for the next year’s contest
Winner grants permission to Seedling for Change to continue featuring their work on the website and other publications.
